Your Health is Jin's Top Priority
JIN & TONIC WELLNESS
Once upon a time.....
In Malaysia, I was blessed enough to be born into a TCM family. Being the 4th generation Chinese in my family, I grew up surrounded by many natural modalities. My family has a long tradition of healing arts, and during meals we often discussed the health benefits of various foods. At that time, I had no idea why my family stressed those concepts – but now I know. Those talks laid the foundation for my practice, which lets me bring tremendous help to so many people. I am very grateful for my early training.
When I was a teenager, I took a job at an herbal store. Back then (and maybe now), most herbal stores refused to hire girls because of the perception that they are not strong enough to carry boxes and other heavy items. But, I had a strong spirit – and found a connection through a classmate whose father owned an herbal store. My herbal responsibilities included compiling formulas for customers, boiling concotions and processing some raw ingredients. It was great hands-on experience.
In spite of being frequently called one of the best acupuncturists in Chicago, I believe I should always keep up with as much new information out there as possible. Hence, I am an avid reader and researcher. Healing is not just about treating my patients and be done with it. It is a life-long relationship that should be maintained on all different levels in life; that includes connecting people to useful information.
"Jin is the best, after over a year of back and leg pain, after just a few visits all pain gone! She truly is a miracle worker! Cannot recommend her enough!"
"Jin is always on point. The professionalism, knowledge, care and concern she has for you is authentic and much appreciated!"
"I have been a client of Jin's for seven years. Her energy is so healing; when I refer friends I tell them 'you cannot be sad when you are with Jin!' Her acupuncture skills are superb. I trust her completely and have recently started bringing my son to her for treatment on his knee after surgery. He feels that it is helping his recovery immensely."
